No, a police officer does not always need a female counterpart during patrols. While having a diverse team with both male and female officers can be beneficial in certain situations, it is not a requirement for a police officer to have a female counterpart during patrols. The most important factor is the training, skills, and professionalism of the officers involved, rather than their gender. **

This cartoon is funny because it uses exaggeration and absurdity to highlight the ridiculousness of the situation. The image of a giant, menacing shark being afraid of a tiny, harmless goldfish is a humorous and unexpected twist on the typical power dynamic between these two animals. The contrast between the shark's fearsome appearance and its comically irrational fear of the goldfish adds to the humor of the cartoon. Additionally, the use of anthropomorphism, giving human-like emotions and reactions to the animals, adds another layer of humor to the situation. **

During World War II, it was a common practice for German submarine crew members to not shave during enemy patrols in order to conserve water and maintain stealth. However, there may be certain special operations or survival situations where soldiers may forgo shaving for practical reasons. Overall, the practice of not shaving during enemy patrols is not a standard practice in modern armies. **

It is possible to do an internship with the police and participate in ride-alongs on night patrols, including in high-crime areas. However, the availability of such opportunities may vary depending on the police department's policies and the specific circumstances of the area. It is important to contact the police department directly to inquire about internship opportunities and the possibility of participating in ride-alongs in hotspot areas. **

As an AI, I don't have the capability to find things funny or not. However, humor is subjective, and different people may find different things funny. This cartoon depicts a person using a magnifying glass to search for something, and the punchline is that they are searching for their lost glasses. Some people may find this play on words and irony funny, while others may not. **
